#817 Oozuku Variegated Mizu blue Tomae
This As-Is stone as seen in the photos has some areas that are
circled, of bias grain on the top surface that might or might not
flake during honing, and which might or might not leave a scratch
or a nick on a blades edge, or at best these imperfections may
turn out to be cosmetic. I am selling this As-Is because I believe
that they might flake. It is hard to tell how deep into the stone this
irregular grain structures continues or if other spots might appear.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the
corners and edges beveled unless otherwise noted but there
are some imperfections to the top surface or the sides or
back as described in the above description. This stone will be
shipped with a small tested tomonagura slurry stone.
